Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage network security operations, including monitoring logs, analyzing alerts, and identifying potential threats.
Plan, implement, and maintain advanced network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, and threat intelligence platforms.
Design and execute penetration testing exercises to identify and remediate vulnerabilities before they are discovered by attackers.
Conduct thorough security assessments and gap analyses, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures, leading investigations and coordinating remediation efforts.
Analyze threat intelligence data, identifying emerging threats and proactively updating security controls.
Mentor and coach junior security analysts, sharing your knowledge and best practices.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, network operations, and security management, to ensure alignment with overall security objectives.
Proactively communicate security risks and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.

Skill & Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a network security role, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
In-depth knowledge of network security concepts, technologies, and methodologies.
Extensive experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM systems, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
Proven ability to conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
Experience with incident response planning, investigation, and remediation.
Familiarity with threat intelligence sources and analysis techniques.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages for automation purposes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Network security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CCNP Security) are highly desirable.
Experience with cloud security platforms is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential.
