Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Network Analyst at Level 2 to join our IT team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network performance and health using network monitoring tools and identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot network problems, analyzing logs and network data to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Implement network changes, following established procedures and testing configurations thoroughly.
  • Support network deployments and upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Document network configurations and procedures to maintain clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with IT and other teams to diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences regarding network issues and solutions.

Skill & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a network support or administration role.
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and switching.
  • Familiarity with network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, and VPNs.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Proficient in basic network configuration using command-line interfaces (CLIs).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Network certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Net+, Linux+) are a plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation purposes is desirable.
