We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commvault Administrator with strong Windows knowledge to join our team as an L2 Engineer. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our Commvault backup and recovery environment, as well as providing technical support to our internal users. Install, configure, and manage Commvault software in a Windows environment
Perform daily backup and recovery operations
Monitor Commvault jobs and alerts, and take proactive measures to resolve issues
Troubleshoot Commvault-related problems and provide technical support to users
Work closely with other IT teams to ensure data protection and availability
Implement best practices for Commvault administration and data protection
Stay up-to-date on the latest Commvault features and best practices
Document Commvault procedures and configurations
Participate in disaster recovery drills and exercises
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Scripting experience (PowerShell, VBScript)
Cloud backup experience (Azure, AWS)
Experience with data security and compliance regulations
3+ years of experience as a Commvault Administrator in a Windows environment
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Active Directory
Experience with other backup and recovery technologies is a plus
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
